Agents do the boring half. Humans own the interesting half.
An in-house agent system keeps our senior engineers focused on design, trade-offs, and judgement. The scaffolding, the plumbing, and the paperwork get handled in the background — all under human review, before anything lands in your repo.
Specialised, not general.
Each agent has a narrow job, a sharp spec, and a senior engineer on the other side of its output. We do not use a one-size-fits-all assistant.
Scaffolder
Stands up services, data models, migrations, and test fixtures from a written spec. Runs in minutes, reviewed by a human before merge.
Test Writer
Reads your code and adds unit, integration, and regression tests where coverage is thin. Flags seams that should be tested instead of mocked.
Migrator
Long-tail library upgrades, framework bumps, and codemods. Tedious-but-mechanical work that humans forget to finish.
Integrator
Plumbs APIs, queues, webhooks, and third-party SDKs. Writes the adapter, the retry logic, the idempotency layer — and the tests for all of it.
Investigator
Walks through logs, traces, and database state when something breaks. Summarises suspected causes so a senior engineer can make the call.
Archivist
Keeps runbooks, ADRs, and inline docs current as the code moves. Drafts are checked into the repo alongside the change.
A bounded collaborator, not an autonomous one.
The agent system is engineered like any production service — least privilege, audit trails, reversible actions, and a human on the on-call rotation.
- 01
Every change is human-reviewed
No agent output reaches your main branch without a senior engineer approving the PR. The agent is a collaborator, not a deploy key.
- 02
Scoped, revocable access
Agents work against a short-lived clone or a sandbox account with least-privilege credentials. Keys rotate per engagement.
- 03
Your data stays your data
We do not train on your code or data. Prompts and artefacts are logged, encrypted, and expire with the engagement.
- 04
Deterministic where it matters
For irreversible operations — migrations, deletes, billing — agents generate the plan; a human presses run.
A sprint that ships twice as much, at the same headcount.
Bring us a backlog or a product hypothesis. We'll scope a first sprint that puts the agent system against the boring half on day one.
